My friend and I changed up our normal workout schedule this week and I woke up on Tuesday morning feeling a little confused about where I was supposed to be…oh yeah, nowhere. For the first time in a long time I had nowhere to be by 6am on a Tuesday morning and it threw me off big time. I spent more time trying to decide whether I’d go to yoga or run that by the time I had decided, I was so caught up in work emails that it wasn’t until many hours later that I actually ran.
I almost didn’t go at all, actually. The only thing that kept me committed to sweating was the fact that I am participating in the Holiday Sweat Challenge and didn’t want to let my fellow Holiday Sweat’ers down…or let myself down. So I laced up and went out for a quick and early runch 4 miler. The weather was near perfect and it felt good to put headphones on and run out all the stress from my morning. By the time I got back, I felt ready to take on the rest of the day.
