Hi y’all – Abbie your favorite vizsla puppy here – this week I started my first week of puppy obedience and one of the recommendations was that I need more stimulating toys. I need things that will require some thinking, strategizing and even disassembly. I have a Kong but I practically just slurp the peanut butter out of it and then lose interest – maybe when I’m bigger, I’ll be more into it.
For now, I’m in love with my new Hide a Squirrel toy. It’s so fun to try and dig all the squeaky squirrels out of their home and then chew on them one by one, listening to their squeaks. Every so often my mom will put them all back in the house, throw it for me and again, I spend time trying to figure out how to get them out, one by one so I can chew them into squeakmission.
If you’re a high energy pup (or dog) like me and need a bit of extra stimulation, I cannot recommend the Hide A Squirrel toy from Outward Hound enough.
Tons of chewing, squeaking, playtime fun!
