Yesterday was the official kick-off of the Holiday Sweat Challenge (woot, woot!); we worked out with Shannon, Bad Ass Fitness and got our healthy eats on.
Since yesterday was legs day for me, here’s what I did to get my holiday sweat on
Early morning workout:
- 3.5 mile workout warm-up run
- Dead lifts with 65 lbs (10 reps) with box jumps (12 reps) x3
- Hamstring extensions 50 lbs (10 reps) with squat jumps (30) x3
- Push-ups (40) – round 1
- Push-ups (30) – round 2
- Push-ups (30) – round 3
- Pilates circle abs with inner thigh press (20 reps), calf raises (50 reps) x3
- Ab roller (3×10)
- Starfish abs (25)
- Bicycles (50)
Followed this workout with a delicious chocolate & almond butter Manitoba Harvest smoothie and a green salad for lunch with curried tofu. I also did a power yoga class with the fabulous Justine Duran in the evening. BOOM. Holiday Sweat, day 2 here we come!
