I am honored to officially announce that I have been selected as a Coeur Sports 2015 Ambassador. I got my acceptance at the start of the year and already, in just a few short months it has been such a wonderful team to be a part of – all of the Coeur Sports Ambassadors and Team Members are total ROCKSTARS – humbled to be included with so many amazing ladies (and meeting so many amazing new friends).
I am so tickled to be representing as I love everything they stand for and of course, I LOVE their gear. Seriously, my Coeur Sports swimsuit is probably my favorite “piece of clothing” ever. Like seriously.
Anyway, ever since I decided that the theme of my year would be “NoExcuses” and that part of that included trying new things and doing more things that scare me, I’ve been thinking A LOT about doing another triathlon. The thing is, I love to run and I can run pretty well (meaning I run like a girl…meaning I run fast and up big mountains). And because I love to run and feel like its something I’m decently good at, I’ll do it.
I don’t feel that way about my bike. I don’t know if its the San Francisco hills or my absolute and complete fear of clipping in that truly stops me from getting back on my bike…but whatever it is, I want to stop making excuses and just start pedaling. And once I start pedaling, I also want to actually make those swim workouts that I talk about so often actually happen. Gotta start getting some good use of that adorable swimsuit I own….
I honestly didn’t know what kind of motivation it was going to take to get me back on a bike or in the pool. I tried leaning on friends and putting it out there that I wanted a bike or swim buddy and then when push came to shove, I realized no biking and / or swimming was happening. And if I truly wanted to do this, I would have to just do it and friends would eventually join me (or perhaps an opportunity to meet new friends?).
Anyway, I got the inspiration I needed to get back on my bike, thanks to my AMAZINGLY cute and comfortable Coeur Sports team tri kit.
Literally two days after it came, I was going on a bike ride. I just couldn’t wait to wear it and test it out. And it’s seriously the cutest (and also functional – duh) kit I’ve ever worn. Swoon.
If you’re looking for a new kit, swimsuit, hat or even compression socks, I can’t reccommend Coeur Sports enough. Their stuff fits, looks cute and is 100% functional.
Look for on the trails this weekend during my 100 miler – I’ll be rockin’ some Coeur Sports gear loud and proud!
Stay sweaty friends!
XOXO,
Jamie
