There’s almost nothing I love more than being outside among the trees, the mud and the mountains. It’s where I am at my best.
It’s both an escape and the place that feels most like home. It’s where I do my best thinking and feel the most creative and inspired. It’s my meditation.
As an avid trail runner, ultra runner and outdoors lover, I’ll be paying homage to the mud, the trees, and the trails by celebrating National Trails Day at Columbia Sportswear on Saturday, May 20 from noon-3 pm. There will be fun activities, snacks, drinks and outdoor workshops – including my workshop on ultra running – come check it out, gear up and potentially even have a chance to win some cool prizes!
A portion of proceeds during the event will go to the American Hiking Society to help preserve our nation’s trails.
