If you’re like me and were lucky enough to get an Instant Pot for the holidays (or just buckled under pressure and bought one for yourself), you’re probably scouring Pinterest to get recipe ideas and inspiration. While the Instant Pot saves you time, money, and effort on preparing everyday dishes (hard boiled eggs, rice, and broths, just to name a few), it can also be a bit daunting when figuring out what recipes to make and how to make them.
That’s why I’ve compiled these 10 beginner Instant Pot recipes – a collection of no-fail recipes that will help you fall in love with your Instant Pot like I have!
Also, I fully admit that when it comes to my Instant Pot, I feel like I’m in that scene in Forrest Gump – shrimp cocktail, shrimp tacos, shrimp sandwich….
But without further adieu….here are my favorite beginner Instant Pot recipes:
Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs: If you’re wondering why anyone would need an Instant Pot to make hard boiled eggs, it’s probably because you’ve never tried it. While hard boiling eggs might seem like a no-brainer, having your hard-boiled eggs turn out perfect and easy to peel each and every time is a dream come true. I love this easy to follow recipe from My Crazy Good Life.
And I love using Eggland’s Best eggs because of their superior nutritional value: they have double the omega-3s, six times the vitamin D, and 10 times the vitamin E as you would get from another egg.
