Things have been busy; I’m not lying when I say I feel like I’ve been partying with the Biebs in Vegas for two months straight…but I’m also not complaining about it either. The way I see it is that when life hands you a challenge, you have to roll up your sleeves, dive right in headfirst and embrace the hell out of it.
And if you’re going to take anything on headfirst, you can’t first sit around telling everyone how busy you are or complaining to anyone who will listen how you haven’t had time to make your chia seed infused, gluten free, vegan, non GMO, superfood packed breakfast bowl that is truly only fit for a unicorn (and you, of course) because life got so in the way…wahhh wahhh….and wahhh.
Instead, you have to move on and adapt to your situation.
For those of you who know me well, you know I’m a smoothie addict. I love my morning smoothie so much that I’ve been known to shake a “smoothie” in a water bottle in hotel rooms.
But with limited time and limited trips to the grocery store, smoothies just haven’t been happening for me lately. In fact, over the last several months there have been a lot of missed meals (cue the hanger!) which started me on my bread cleanse, AKA an all bread diet.
And while I’m no bread hater (more gluten, please!), I knew I needed a little more…ahem, balance during this hectic time.
