I got married in June to my very best friend in the whole world. The guy with the best rubber face in town, slug photography, taste in women, and honestly the kindest heart and best freaking sense of humor ever. He’s kinda great even though he kinda hates when I feature our lives online.
But I guess that’s part of love, he sometimes has to deal with the fact that he married a total over-sharer and that I don’t always listen (though I do try!).
And since it has been a few months since I gratuitously plastered my wedding photos all over Facebook, I’m going to take the opportunity to gratuitously plaster them here too (all courtesy of my AMAZING photographer, Molly).
Anyway, we got married at the historic and beautiful Santa Margarita Ranch (near San Luis Obispo). It was a perfect, gorgeous Central Coast wedding if I do say so myself. Here’s the barn (aka reception):
We got married under a big beautiful tree and my big brother officiated (so special and amazing). And we had aisle petals, hanging flowers in jars (swoon), custom jenga and corn hole on the lawn. Amazeeeee.
And we made 200 of these mason jars for drinks…they were a pain to make and not enough people took them home. But they were very pretty!
My hubby is so amazing he even let me invite unicorns and glow in the dark horses to our big day.
And a fox…
We danced with our moscow mules in hand….
And if unicorns and horses weren’t enough…we also had dinosaurs…on our CAKE (thanks to my amazing Aunt Allyson, Uncle Ted, Uncle Remzi, & Aunt Melissa):
My bridesbabes wore coral shoes and made amazing duck faces:
The groomsmen looked handsome too (though sometimes got weird):
And my niece was extra super adorable:
We even had a wedding poodle:
It was an epic weekend, to say the least. #KingCity for life.
XOXO,
Jamie
