Today is the official start of the #NoExcuses challenge! WOOT WOOT. And of course, we’re going to kick things off with some blogging fun for a chance to win awesome prizes from Augusta Active, ShowerPill, ActivMotion Bar, WIN Detergent, Actio926, Beaming with Health, and Sasquatch Racing.
Now, get ready 2015 because I wrote you a letter (and I’m coming for you!):
Hey 2015, it’s me The POM [nickname, spirit animal, real name, blog name]. This year I would like to crush another 100 mile run, try new things (perhaps a triathlon, or maybe rock climbing), and start my Glider Yoga certification course.
It would also be super duper awesome if I also travel more this year. It’s not a resolution, though, just a reminder to myself to try and have the best year yet because its time to the best I can be b*ches!
The thing I am looking forward to most this year is BlogFest 2015, of course! It’s going to be EPIC y’all!
I’ll use the one thing that truly gets me out of bed in the morning which is a strong cold brew smoothie to help me get up, get my booty shaking and get after my #NoExcuses 2015.
Speaking of excuses (ahem), my very favorite excuse is I don’t know how and I have used it to get out of bike riding and even doing laundry (the worst chore EVER) on more than 2,015 (number) occasions. 😉
I vow to move my body and be more healthy this year even if it means I have to drink less wine. Even if my alarm clock gets eaten by the dog in the middle of the night, I’ll still get my butt up for my workouts (no matter how much wine I had the night before). I will stop blaming my husband [ex: kids, dog, husband] for eating the rest of the cheese when everyone knows it was really me.
My work schedule [job, hair, car, husband, kids, etc] is not the reason I make excuses. I will show my work schedule [same as before] who’s boss this year and get my running and yoga [type of sweaty activity] on.
I know that running and yoga are better than wine [noun]. I will reward myself by looking even better naked! 😉
No Excuses 2015 has just begun and already I am imagining myself a winner.
I can’t wait to rock a new hoodie [article of clothing] from Augusta Active. I can’t wait till my sweaty friends are jealous of how fresh, clean and stank free [adj] I am between workouts with help from ShowerPill body wipes. I can see myself rocking handstands with eagle legs [yoga pose / workout move] in new Capri Me Leggings [article of clothing from Actio926] from Actio926 and looking fit and fly while doing it. And of course, I’ll be taking my workouts to the next level and improving my core [noun] with my new ActivMotion Bar to help me train for my next 100 miler [distance] race with Sasquatch Racing.
Oh, and let’s not forget how amazing my new yoga pants [article of clothing] will smell in Glider Yoga [favorite type of workout] after washing with some WIN Detergent. And lastly, I’ll keep rocking my 2015 with clean eats and nutrition from Beaming with Health!
I tag the following three people to take this post and make it their own. You’re up #sweatpink’ers! Take the survey, tag 3 friends to take it next and show the world how you’re gonna make 2015 your b*tch! HA.

January 12, 2015 at 9:35 amI LOVE the mad lib idea. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for our #NoExcuses challenge. I didn’t even think about laundry when I filled mine out this morning! That would explain why I’m always on my last set of clean workout clothes.

January 12, 2015 at 9:55 amhahaha, I am the BIGGEST procrastinator / excuse maker with laundry…my poor husband. We have to haul it up and down 3 flights of stairs…and I’m just sooo over it. 😉 HA.

January 12, 2015 at 10:35 amWait…running and yoga are better than wine? You mean better with wine!! Haha ok, something I will work on this year as well! Looking forward to having #NoExcuses (or at least way less excuses!) in 2015!

January 12, 2015 at 11:47 amI really hope I can go to a blog conference of some sort someday! I’ll have to live vicariously through you for that one in LA! <3
I feel like you'd get along well with my friend. He said he'd rather clean bathrooms than do laundry. (I told him we should trade; laundry is actually my favorite household chore, especially given the alternative! 😛 )

January 12, 2015 at 12:34 pmOMG. I’d clean toilets over laundry any old day. Scrub and done… 😉 HA! I hope you DO come to BlogFest this year. Try to make it happen!! XOXOX

January 12, 2015 at 1:23 pmI’m SO bad about doing laundry, unfortunately, the only person who is worse than me is my boyfriend! We both put it off until we absolutely have to do it. 🙂

January 12, 2015 at 5:07 pmOh, you know, just not making it an excuse anymore, who said cutting back..? I’m always down for grabbing a glass of wine. We must find a good night! 😉

January 12, 2015 at 8:50 pmThis is super fun… didn’t get a chance to post today on the blog, but hopefully will do by the end of the week (if that’s not too late).
Oh I can wash laundry just fine, but folding and putting it away is another story LOL
Jamie says
January 12, 2015 at 9:34 pmI totally understand that, folding and putting it away and doing it in general just SUCKS. Can’t wait to read yours!

January 13, 2015 at 2:07 pmLove the MadLib idea! So much fun to fill out and your answers are awesome!!! Posting mine tomorrow 🙂 Ps. I HATE laundry too…my husband refers to our laundry room as Mt. Everest….as in it’s just one big pile of clothes!
Jamie says
January 13, 2015 at 2:16 pmI wish we had a laundry room – – it’s just a giant pile of clothes in our hamper in the closet that has to be hauled down 3 flights of stairs — ugh, worst chore! 😉
