Ok, I die. This week’s chocolate of the week is AMAZING. I am practically drooling on my keyboard just thinking about it. This week I tried Recchiuti’s Almond Bar. The description says toasted almonds, caramel syrup and sea salt (um, ok, yes) and it tastes exactly like you’d imagine…only better.
Plus, the bar is beautiful and even has “San Francisco” inscribed on it. I might have eaten more of this one than I should have. But whatever, it was delicious.
After going to the Recchiuti website, I fell more in love with this chocolate. The founding story is lovely – Michael and his wife Jacky started Recchiuti in a test kitchen and then began combining all their favorite things into their beautiful chocolates: art, music and other pieces of San Francisco.
I heat you, Recchiuti.
