I don’t know about y’all but with the holidays just around the corner, I’ve been dreaming about sipping on delicious (and beautiful) craft cocktails while dressed up in a cute little holiday dress. The thing is the only cocktails I truly know how to make are Moscow Mules and margaritas. And while there’s nothing wrong with a good mule or marg, I always love to shake things up.
That’s why I couldn’t have been more excited to receive a copy of Cocktails for Cougars and Cowgirls, a book from the ladies behind This Girl Walks Into a Bar – Jordan Catapano and Jocelyn Dunn Muhlbach – its chock full of cocktails for every occasion, any time of year and any drinking mood.
While I can’t claim to be a cowgirl (though I can do a mean yeeeeehaw!) and I’m sure as hell not a cougar, it’s such a such a fun book. It will make a nice addition to any hostess with the mostess’ kitchen or bookshelf. You can order the book here and use code C4CC2015 for a 10% discount and free shipping.

November 9, 2015 at 11:00 amOkay well I can’t really drink cocktails right now but this book looks so fun! I do have a great Dirty Pear Hot Toddy recipe on my blog but I also like my Cinnamon Ginger Greyhound. Now if it’s NOT something I’ve thrown together in a glass…a good ‘ol Whiskey Sour is a winner.
