I’m always on the lookout for a good, sporty swimsuit and not just those that I can swim laps in but suits that look cute on the beach and are also sturdy enough for swimming, surfing, and even SUP yoga-ing!
After spending most of our honeymoon in a swimsuit, I realized that most of the cute suits I own are good for nothing more than laying on the beach. Of course, I didn’t let that stop me, I just had to spend more time adjusting and monitoring my suit’s activity than I wanted to.
After that experience, I decided it was time to get something that could take me from laying out on the beach to SUP yoga, surfing, swimming, kayaking, wakeboarding and back again. And since I’ve been loving the look and durability of all of my prAna workout gear, casual tops and dresses, I decided to take a chance on their swimwear as well.
I went with the Lahari Halter Top (size xs) in cool green and got two different kinds of bottoms to go with it, the Lani Bottoms in cool green (size xs) and my favorite, the Tobago Bottom (also in cool green, size xs). I also got Casey the Sediment Board Shorts in cool green (yes, a little matchy matchy, I know..but the green is just too cute!).
When the swimsuits arrived, I was so thrilled because they were even cuter in person than online. I love how simple it was to match the suit with different bottoms – I was able to get two really cute bottoms for one top – completely changing the look and feel of the suit each time I wear it. And the green is SO cute on. So cute.
I also love the way the suit fits. Both the tops and bottoms feel sturdy and comfortable and stay put in all the right places.
And Casey’s suit is just too cute. It’s seriously the cutest pair of board shorts I’ve ever seen him in and the material is really nice!
What are your fave water activities?
Stay sweaty friends!
