I’ve been a BOSU Balance Trainer addict for as long as I can remember; I first fell in love with them at the gym.
I remember sneakily (errr, creepily) watching this really ripped lady at the gym doing one-legged squats and reverse lunges on a BOSU and then waiting until after she left to hop on and try a few for myself.
And it was love at first balance.
I love how easily I can add challenge to my workouts – from squats, push-ups, bicep curls, lunges, and planks to handstands, dancer and even crow pose!
After years of working out on a BOSU Balance Trainer at the gym, I knew that we needed to have them at the studio as well for all of our bootcamp and strength training classes. And we use them all the time. I use them all the time.
For the last year, I’ve been thinking about getting one that I could use at home but knew that if I was going to get my own BOSU, that it wasn’t going to be the standard blue dome, black rim BOSU. I needed a BOSU that was going to pop…which is exactly why I am so excited about the new BYO BOSU (build your own BOSU).
You get the same great balance trainer, only customized in a color combo of your choosing. You can choose between 6 dome colors (blue, lime green, orange, pink, purple and red) and 5 rim colors (black, blue, gray, green, and orange) to create the BOSU of your dreams…
**And if you use the code BYOBFREESHIP before 12/31/16, you can get FREE shipping on the BOSU of your dreams.**
Naturally, I went with the pink dome and green rim and I got the red dome and black rim for the studio.
What color combo would you choose? And why?
Stay sweaty friends!
XOXO
Jamie

December 12, 2016 at 12:27 pmLOVE that pink & green combo! That’s funny, my first intro to the BOSU was also from watching a super ripped lady at the gym. She was doing one-legged squats on a BOSU, and I remember thinking, I probably can’t even do two legged squats without falling on my face. Turns out I actually can, but boy do they burn! (in all the right ways, of course!)

December 12, 2016 at 1:36 pmI just saw the blue one BOSU’s in our gym today, and I just thought about how a little color would add some spunk! Glad you went with the pink and green. 🙂

December 13, 2016 at 7:48 amThe pink and lime green combo is perfection. I would also go for the reverse with the lime green dome — heart eyes for that lime green right now.
