If the month of December has been as crazy for you as it has been for me and you need a good, quick blast of sweat, grab a BOSU Balance Trainer for a quick 20 minute leg burning, heart pounding workout, brought to you by…Jamie King Fit (oh wait, that’s me!).
To complete this workout, al you need is a BOSU Balance Trainer and a willing soul! I even broke it down for you just in case you’re like my mom and YouTube videos make you dizzy. #yourewelcome
- BOSU Toe Taps: Stand in front of your BOSU Balance Trainer and tap your toes on it as fast as you can. Can’t get any simpler than that…or more efficient! Try tapping it out for 15-30 seconds!
- BOSU Ups & Squats: Stand in front of your BOSU and lower your hips and bend your knees into a squat. Spring on to your BOSU and land in a squat. Spring off of your BOSU and land in a squat. (Try for 5-10 ups and squats!)
- BOSU Side Lunges: Stand beside your BOSU and bend one leg into a squat and then jump over the BOSU landing in a side lunge (one legged squat) on the other leg and repeat. (Try for 10 rounds!)
- BOSU Squat Jumps: Stand on your BOSU and bend your knees, lower your hips and SQUAT. Spring out of your squat into a jump and land again in a squat on your BOSU (do it until you can’t do any more!)
For beginners, try to complete one round. For those who are feeling a bit more feisty (or for those of you who drank your weight in egg nog, give it 3 rounds!).
You’ll probably notice just how tired my legs look throughout the video (you’ll even catch me pausing) because y’all this workout is that good. I did a few takes – mostly because I have a special skill for cropping myself out of photos and videos – but seriously, this workout is no joke and in my opinion, the most perfect remedy to holiday indulgence.
