Whoa, that’s a moutful. The Chocolate Maker’s Studio is a small batch, handcrafted chocolate studio based in Austin, TX. I received this beautiful dark chocolate bar as a gift from Alyse and couldn’t wait to break into it. The bar itself is gorgeous – from the packing, to the details on the actual bar (a tree on the front and a little colorful flower decal on the back) – it was begging me to eat it for weeks.
And when I finally did break into it, I was a little surprised by the cardamom flavor at first – it was a bit strong – but after a couple more bites, I started to taste more of the honey caramel and sea salt. And it started to taste a bit more caramely sweet – my husband said it reminded him of a Rolo (I don’t entirely agree with that assessment).
They also have a marcona almonds and sea salt dark chocolate (all I can say to that is YES PLEASE!).

Stay sweaty friends!
XOXO,
