SPILeash: The perfect leash for your trail dog

September 11, 2015 by Jamie 2 Comments

Y’all probably know this by now but Abbie (my pup) is seriously the best running partner ever. Not only because she’s the most enthusiastic running partner I’ve ever had but she’s also the most dependable. She seriously always wants to run and has the most positive attitude about going on a run that I’ve ever encountered.

Of course, she sometimes loses focus in the presence of squirrels and occasionally loses her shit when a bird flies too low (those damn birds). She may even trip me, or try to run after a bike or two but she’s the best.

And since she makes running such a joy for me, I like to make sure she gets as much joy out of it as I do. That’s why I was pumped when SPIbelt sent us the SPIleash to try because it has a perfect little pocket that makes carrying treats, poo bags and other puppy essentials a breeze! And if you’re brave, you can also use it for keys, cell phone or other things you need while out on the trails. Personally, I prefer to keep my keys and cell phone on me because my pup might jump in the water or somehow skid, fall, crash when she’s on the chase for a bird or other critter.

Love the @SPIBelt Leash, perfect for my #traildog #sweatpink #abbiethevizsla

Even if you’re not a running puppy mom, SPIbelt has all kinds of good stuff for runners. Like a waist belt so you can carry your own keys and cell phone and not worry that your pup will douse them in a creek. 🙂

Happy trails y’all and stay sweaty!

XOXO,

Jamie
