If you were lucky enough to read my Five Things Friday from last week you’d know that I attended the Title Nine FitFest for the second year in a row…a tradition that I LOVE a little too much.
Because honestly, what’s better than talking boobs, sports bras, and enjoying a glass of wine with girlfriends?
This year, the Sweat Pink team and Flex & Flow tribe teamed up to put Title Nine’s bravangelists to the test. We brought our laughter, boob humor, and discerning sports bra taste to Title Nine in Portland’s Pearl District to find our perfect fitting sports bra.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a glass of wine (yeehaw!) and were matched with a Bravangelist who asked us questions about our activities, bra history and measurements (or at least what we thought they might be…). After a series of questions, our Bravangelists took a quick measurement and promptly came back with an assortment of bras for us to try.
I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about some of her selections for me. I fingered through the bras and though yeah, right about a couple of choices – mainly because I thought they wouldn’t work on me.
After trying on the ones that I thought I would love best (the ones I pointed out to my Bravangelist), I reluctantly started putting on her choices. And a funny thing happened. Two of her choices in a row ended up being my FAVORITE bras ever – one of which I brought home with me – the other which I will be ordering online (they didn’t have my exact size in stock at the time).
It was such an enlightening experience on how to really choose the right bra – and find one that works with you, not against you. I left with the Title Nine Tech Athena bra I’ve put my new bra through the test – a trail run (where the bounce potential was HIGH)…
…a power yoga class at Flex & Flow complete with handstands and arm balances
..and even just for wearing around town to test the all out comfort…
…and the bra scored high on all marks. It’s sleek and beautiful, comfortable and secure without being constricting and doesn’t let any bounce or weird slippage happen.
If you want to get your own personalized bra fit with a Title Nine Bravangelist, join Title Nine Portland’s Fit Fest on Wednesday, June 1 and Thursday, June 2. RSVP here.
And of course, because Title Nine is so freaking awesome, one of you lucky ducks (US only – sorry) has a chance to win a personalized fitting and free sports bra from Title Nine. Your prize will include a personalized fitting (either in-store or by-phone, depending on location) and one bra. Winners within driving distance of a Title Nine store will be asked to redeem your prize at the closest/preferred retail location.
Good luck!
Stay sweaty friends,
XOXO

May 31, 2016 at 4:36 amOh my,
I REALLY need a bra fitting and new sports bras. I just threw away three bras that I had to perform acrobatic feats to get my tatas into. Life’s too short to wrestle with an uncomfortable bra!

June 29, 2016 at 8:01 amWhen you are an avid runner it seems like you never have enough sports bras, especially during the summer. I have only found two bras (the panache and the tata tamer by lulu lemon) that have ever held me tight during my high impact workouts and gosh those get expensive.
