I said almost…so back off. 😉
I’ve been sharing some of my favorite holiday themed smoothie recipes with y’all for the past couple of months and I’m at it again with a little help from Puritan’s Pride. Most of the time I make smoothies for a healthy breakfast or post workout snack but they can also be a healthier way to indulge this holiday season. If you’re looking for a lower calorie option to your usual holiday cocktails, try these deliciou smoothie mocktails. They’re almost as good as the ones with the booze….almost. 😉  Hey, but WAY healthier.
Here are some of my very favorite holiday smoothie mocktail creations:
A Very White Christmas:
- 1 scoop of Puritan’s Pride Soy Protein Isolate Powder Vanilla
- 1 banana
- 1-2 drops of peppermint flavor extractÂ
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 tsp agave nectar
- Approx: 5 ice cubes
Blend and enjoy this one by the fire with your favorite holiday tunes and holiday sweater (don’t worry, we won’t tell),
The Ginger Lady:
- 1 scoop of Puritan’s Pride Soy Protein Isolate Powder Vanilla
- 1 banana
- 1-2 pinches of Lehi Valley Natural GingerÂ
- Cinnamon, to taste
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp agave nectar
- Approx: 5 ice cubes
Blend and enjoy! This one tastes best while decorating the tree or baking dozens of sugar cookies for your neighbors (usually drinking a smoothie yields better cookie results than when I drink #allthewine – just sayin’).
Jamie’s Holy Hangover Helper  (this one is muy especial, folks…works every time! 😉Â
- 1 scoop of Puritan’s Pride Soy Protein Isolate Powder Vanilla
- One tbsp Dynamic Health Pomegranate Juice Concentrate
- 1-2 pinches of Puritan’s Pride Vitamin C Crystals
- One banana
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- One cup orange juice
Blend and enjoy! This is my favorite holiday smoothie when the night before makes it almost impossible to enjoy the night after. Nurse the hangover with plenty of vitamin C and look festive while doing it.
Now you have the recipes, time to WIN the ingredients….And you get a smoothie…and YOU get a smoothie. Ok, maybe only one of will win a smoothie but here goes nothing!

December 12, 2014 at 1:06 pmWe made some holiday cocktails at our Friendsgiving party and the best was definitely a Seared Lemon Ginger Spritzer with Gin! I probably could have used that last smoothie recipe the next day 😉
