Last night I taught my last Glider Yoga class of 2014 (woot, woot!) and then went out to dinner with my boo, Lyndsey to exchange gifts and drink sangria, really. 😉 Needless to say, I was chugging water before bed in anticipation of the arm murder that I knew was going to happen today.
This morning was Carrie and my last Thursday workout in 2014 so like our last Tuesday of 2014, we freaking brought it. The workout ended with a lay on the ground and pray that we can get back up….and then of course a yoga photo shoot… because who doesn’t do that when you’re butt tired and your arms are falling off?
Here’s today’s MURDER YOUR ARMS workout if you’re feeling the rage today:
- Eliptical sprint intervals – 4 miles (31 minutes) warm-up
- Chest press – 85 lbs (10), 85 lbs (7), 85 lbs (7) + 65 lbs (7)
- Bicep curls + overheads with 15 lbs (10)
- Tricep dips (20), hold low, pulse out 10 more
- Mountain climbers with hands on a small medicine ball (yay for extra stability work while mountain climbing!)
- Bicep curls + overheads with 15 lbs (10)
- Tricep dips (20), hold low, pulse out 10 more
- Bosu squat jumps (30)
- Bicep curls + overheads with 15 lbs (10)
- Tricep dips (20), hold low, pulse out 5 more (couldn’t make 10…like not at all)
- Lunge jumps (20)
- Ropes (30 sec)
- Push-ups (25)
- Glider v-up abs (20)
- Ropes (30 secs)
- Push-ups (25)
- In & out abs – kind of like leg drops, only worse (10)
- Ropes (30 secs)
- Push-ups (19) #onstruggle
- Starfish abs (25)
- Push-ups (16)
- Squat jumps (30)
- Push-ups (15)
And lay on the mat and stare at the ceiling while catching our breath….
